Annalisa ByrneGoogle Review, May 2025 Absolutely delighted with my Lacey sofa and armchair. It is so so comfortable. The 1933 Furniture Company is a beautiful store with a wide choice of furniture. Excellent and knowledgeable sales staff. To top it all were the delivery men, who placed my sofa and chair exactly where I wanted it, even ensuring it was sitting properly on top of my rug.
Lacey - Extra Large Sofa
Sandra LundryGoogle Review, July 2025 We are delighted with our new sofa. The ranges and variety on offer in the 1933 Furniture Company beat anything we saw in Dublin. The showroom is full of superb quality furniture which is real value for money. The free delivery to Dublin was a bonus. Highly recommended.
Zack O'RourkeVerified Buyer My partner and I had been open to the idea of getting a sofa for a while as our previous sofa just lacked comfort. We took a trip out to the 1933 Furniture Store one Saturday just to have a browse and it was there we found our perfect sofa. Beyond comfortable, Irish-made and reasonably priced.
Apollo - Corner Sofa + Stool
Ross ReidyGoogle Review, July 2025 We’re recently purchased a Titan suite. Service and quality of goods was fantastic. Very happy with the purchase. We have also purchased furniture previously from 1933 so we knew the service and quality would be great Thank you!

Yes – everything you see on our website is available to view in-store. From sofas and dining tables to beds, chairs, and home accessories, it’s all here. Visiting means you can see the pieces up close, try them for comfort, and get a proper feel for the materials and finishes before making any decisions.
Can I ask for advice from the team before visiting?
Of course – that’s what we’re here for. If you’ve a question about a piece, want help with measurements, or need advice on what might work best in your space, just give us a call or message us. We’re always happy to help before you visit, and even more so when you arrive.
Is delivery across Ireland free?
Delivery is free anywhere in Ireland on orders over €800. That includes not just getting it to your door, but bringing it in, placing it where you want it, and setting it up properly – whether it’s a new sofa, dining table, or bed. We’ll take away the packaging too, so all you’re left with is the furniture, ready to enjoy.
